Spend in the clowns

Maybe contributing a few bucks to support the campaign of your fave presidential candidate is a very American thing to do -- playing your tiny-but-oh-so-valuable little role in this fine democratic system.

On the other hand, maybe you're just paying for a crapload of donuts (and, by the way, would you really support a candidate whose staff chose Dunkin' Donuts over Krispy Kremes?) and filling the coffers of overpaid and generally ineffectual corporate p.r. agencies.

Think maybe I'll do something more useful with that $25, like buy myself a donut and download 24 songs from iTunes.

Wow, I dont know if the master blogger realized it when he made todays post, but I think he really hit on something that made me understand the real value of a dollar.(And I am not trying to be my typical wise-ass self) Instead of converting the value of a dollar into Euro's or Yen's or whether your dollar goes farther or the figuring the latest Consumer Price Index, you should figure it in terms of how many ITUNES songs you can buy. I am not kidding when I say that that concept is brilliant. So next time my beloved wife wants those shoes, I will remind her that I could get 200 songs, or when she wants a new car, that I could get 40,00 songs instead!!!

You have been an invaluable help with todays post!!!

Mmm... think about the dent that $25 could make in the Wendy's dollar menu.
