Palm trees with lights - even if they're located in someone's front yard next to a fountain that could generously be called tacky - are just fine with me.

WonderWife™ and I were just out in the backyard, talking about how it didn't feel much like Christmas. After 14 years in sunny So Cal, I'm still not used to it.

Nice tacky photos. We have them (although under 3 feet of snow, they was hard to find for a while) too (the lights and the classy blow-up things).
B - Thanks, glad you like 'em. That was definitely related to my point - much easier to enjoy without the annoying snow getting in the way.
