Patience

Attention writers: Any time I come across "wait for it..." (as in: "Max ate an entire pizza and then... wait for it... six hamburgers!") in whatever it is I'm reading, I don't wait. I just keep moving right ahead. Maybe it's just me, but I don't find the ellipses really slow me down that much.

Just thought you'd want to know.

  3. Above was my attempt at a modified version of "WAIT FOR IT" But I bet you all scrolled down, so in a way, I accomplished the same goal?!?!?!? Or, was that just simply the most annoying post on SFTC ever!! I would go with the latter.

  6. L - I was pretty sure I had done this, too... and I checked, and sure enough, back in April on this very blog. But I think the statute of limitations has expired on that one, and I feel comfortable imposing the rule - at least on myself. Did people use that phrase much before 2007?
